Agreement to these terms

These terms govern access to and use of the PriceDB website, API, WebSocket feeds and related services. By using PriceDB, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Free use of PriceDB data

You may access, use, reproduce and redistribute PriceDB API output for personal, community or commercial purposes without a PriceDB usage fee, subject to these terms and any rights held by the original data providers. This permission does not transfer ownership of PriceDB, its software, branding or third-party source data.

Where reasonably practical, attribution to PriceDB should be included when redistributing PriceDB data.

PriceDB is currently provided as a free public service. This does not guarantee that every feature, usage level or method of access will remain available indefinitely.

Prohibited use

You must not:

• use automated means in a manner that unreasonably consumes shared resources;
• evade rate limits, access controls, blocks or other technical protections;
• use PriceDB to manipulate markets, prices, users, bots or source data;
• submit deceptive requests or conceal abusive automated traffic;
• misrepresent PriceDB data, your relationship with PriceDB, or your service as official;
• use the service to facilitate fraud, malware, harassment or other unlawful harm; or
• encourage or assist another person to do any of the above.

Availability and enforcement

We may apply or change rate limits and may restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to protect PriceDB, investigate suspected abuse, comply with law or enforce these terms. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service without guaranteeing prior notice.

Data quality and third-party services

Prices are estimates assembled automatically from multiple sources. Data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable or incorrect and must not be treated as financial advice or a guaranteed market value. PriceDB links to and depends on third-party services that we do not control, and their own terms may apply.

Third-party rights

Team Fortress 2, Steam and Valve are trademarks or registered trademarks of Valve Corporation. PriceDB is an independent community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve Corporation.

PriceDB aggregates pricing information from community and market sources. Rights in original source data remain with their respective owners.

Liability

PriceDB is provided “as is” and “as available” without guarantees about accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PriceDB is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost data, service interruption or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
